Irish Wolfhounds
For Sale
All my mares are home grown with the exception of Pretty Ruffles who I had purchased as a two yr old.  Now retired, she has been the foundation of many broodmares I have today.  She has been on the APHA leading dams list and was one of my best producers, has a show record and passed on these winning ways to her daughters and grand daughters.  I have 3 toby/tovero mares that I have kept back as they have been great producers, giving me futurity champions and versatile riders. I had leased out Skye, Brooke and Asswipe to Marilyn Becker for the past 2 years and she has gotten some good babies on the ground.  This fall my girls come home and  Brooke and Skye will be bred back to Splasheriffic  - AQHA stallion - for 2012 babies.  I have to go husband hunting for Asswipe and Phyllis.  Mattie should be shown so I might just get that done next year. Over the years I have had some wonderful stallions the first being Dancing Go Man who was a Sudden Impact son; you will see I have two of his daughters and a grand daughter.  I also owned Watch Me Impressm for a short time and never kept any daughters back of his before he passed.  I had kept a son of his Watch Me Go Bye but he just didn't turn out the way I wanted him to so I gelded him and showned him for a short time before he was sold.  Next came Splasheriffic .  He seemed to cross awesome on my mares giving me super minds and halter babies before he was sold.  I have  kept 3 of his daughters. Skye, Brooke and Ruffles have no impressive breeding but crossed on a halter stallion, they produced futurity champions many times over.  Asswipe, Phyllis and Mattie have impressive on the top side and are all HYPP N/N.

Libby is a 3 year old AKC & CKC Registered Irish Wolfhound.  In 2007 I went on the hunt for my dream dog, contacted a breeder in the U.S. named Darla Laffery and aquired Libby.   Libby was just 5 weeks old and so had to wait an extra 3 weeks to get her.  Darla was great, sending pictures and keeping me updated for those weeks.  Libby arrived in Canada on Friday, April 13.  She had missed her connecting flights and the airline had lost her; after many overdue hours she arrived finally safe and sound from her 14 hour ordeal.  I remember opening the crate and out came this stinky very happy puppy.  On the 4 hour drive home and she slept most of the way only waking up for a much needed potty break.  We arrived home in the middle of the night, I was exhausted and went to bed.  Libby had other ideas.  Still th ein crate beside me, she began howling to get out and play.  That first week I wondered what I had gotten into but all you have to do is look into their eyes and you know why.

I am located 12 km west of St. Albert, Alberta.  I have been breeding paint horses for many years and keepa few select paint mares that are bred every year .   I am a firm believer in quality not quantity and color is a bonus.

My love for horses began as a small child,  I had a  dream of someday owning, showing and breeding good paint horses which I feel I have accomplished.  I am a true believer in a good tobiano horse and have been blessed over the years to own a few of them with a few overo paint horses in the mix.  I have had the privilege of owning some great stallions and have kept daughters of them to always improve my broodmares.

One other dream I have always had was owning an Irish Wolfhound so 3 yrs ago I bought Libby. I can tell you my life has never been the same!  She is my heart.
We offer a small selection of paint horses for sale every year as well as a few paint foals.
